It is vital for your team to be able to get to know one another and establish a strong work relationship. What better way to do this than to go out for a fun team building event! Here are some fun ideas you can do for you and your team that everyone will enjoy but won’t break the budget.
#1. Eat out : Majority rules! Cast a vote for the whole team to decide where everyone should eat! Try to promote restaurants where there are not too many TVs present. The point is to get everyone to engage in conversation.
#2. Visit your local garden : I know here in the DFW area we have two major gardens. The Dallas Arboretum and the Fort Worth Botanical gardens. Schedule a day for everyone to go out and enjoy a walk in nature together. Perhaps make time to set up a picnic as well!
#3. Mini Golf : Who doesn’t love mini golf? Nobody has to be a golf expert, and even if you are not the best at the game, it is still a great opportunity to laugh, and have fun with your team.
#4. Lake/Beach Day: Depending on the area you live in, how fun would it be to go boating, maybe eat on a dinner cruise or just walk the lake?
#5. Cooking Class : What better way to gather with your coworkers than to cook and share a meal together? Be it a virtual or live cooking class, both would be a great and delicious way to get to know one another!
