
There is a plethora of different personality tests out there from the Meyers and Briggs test to the DiSC test. In this article, we are going to be discussing the four temperaments by the historical Hippocrates.
The four temperaments divides common traits amongst people into 4 different groups/categories. Below is a list of these categories along with the traits that form these groups.
Choleric : Excitable, Egocentric, Always has to be right, Impulsive, Hard Headed
Sanguine : Playful, Easygoing, Cheerful, Carefree,
Phlegmatic : Calm, Good Listener, Controlled, loyal
Melancholic : Serious, worried, Anxious, blue, thoughtful
All these temperaments have their good qualities as well as their bad. It is important to not only figure out what temperament you are, but to also be able to quickly learn and adapt to the personality you are trying to lead or make a sale to. Picking up on your prospect’s personality type will definitely not only make your sale more personable, but will drive up the likelihood that your prospect will buy!
